Double strollers

I am taking an informal poll of all 3 readers of this blog. Is it worth buying a double stroller. I kind of want one but I don't want to get one and then have it be too cumbersome and never use it. Do you use one and if you do any suggestions on the best type ie side by side versus the front/back version.

I love my double stroller. I have a Jeep side by side stroller that I bought at Babies R Us. I have taken it everywhere - the mall, walks around the neighborhood, the fair, parades, etc. The only drawback to this one is that there is not a lot of storage space, but I usually just hang my diaper bag on the handles, and we're good to go! Hope that helps!

Not that I'm an expert, but I really like Dave and Crystal's double stroller. I don't think it was the 2009, but it looked like the one on this page Maclaren Double Stroller

It has an awesome rain cover and foor muffs.

I loved my double stroller. I had a side by side but Josy and Ethan are only 17 months apart. You have an active older boy you might consider the ones that just have a little seat on the back for sitting or standing. That way when you are going places the he can jump on and off and not be stuck in a stroller. My friend has one like this and loves it.

I would skip the double stroller and get the Baby Trend Sit and Stand Stroller. It's as small as a regular stroller, but has a spot for your toddler to ride when he's tired. I love mine. And hated my double stroller. But somehow with twins we thought we needed a double... :)

We have the stroller the others are talking about and LOVE IT!! Its not to big and the older kids can sit or stand on the back. The front seat also has a bar that you can hook your infant seat on until she is big enough to ride in the bigger seat. It is AWESOME!!

I would buy the sit and stand stroller instead of a double one.
They are much easier to maneuver and grow with the kids.
